SEASON RESULTS:

04: Triple Eight enters V8 Supercar competition in its first full-time season. The learning curve is steep and every race meeting provides the team with valuable experience, allowing it to improve its results across throughout the course of the year.

05: The signing of Craig Lowndes proves a master stroke for the team. Lowndes breaks through for Triple Eight’s first win at Eastern Creek, narrowly missing out on the driver’s title but cementing the Brisbane-based team as a force to be reckoned with.

06: Up-and-coming star Jamie Whincup joins Lowndes at Triple Eight, an exciting addition of youth and enthusiasm. The duo win a popular Bathurst 1000 and Lowndes finishes a close runner-up in the championship chase after a dominant year on track.

07: Another exemplary year for the Team sees Whincup stand up and be counted as a legitimate title contender. The ‘endurance specialists’ collect another Bathurst 1000 crown and Whincup is beaten to the title by a mere 2 points after a hard-fought season.

08: Exerting its dominance from the opening round, TeamVodafone steamrolls the competition, winning 6 rounds, a third, history-making Bathurst crown, the Drivers’ and Teams’ Championships, Pole award, Barry Sheene Medal and Best Presented team.

09: TeamVodafone continued to dominate on the track in 2009 winning 14 races and claiming 7 pole positions. Jamie Whincup wrapped up his second consecutive drivers title.
