The Clipsal 500 is a driver and fan favourite and the only event to have been voted into the V8 Supercar Hall of Fame. The streets of Adelaide are transformed into an unforgiving, high-speed circuit for the first Australian round of the championship. TeamVodafone has enjoyed great success here with Jamie Whincup winning on debut with the team in 2006 and taking a clean sweep of both races in 2008 and 2009.
