i think that would be awsome and bring it out on all consoles even wii just like f1 2009 and you could have a carear mode that you start out in the fujitsu series and work your way up then offered a drive in the main game in a low level team and as you abillity improves you get better drives in higher teams until you make it to one of the top level teams being team vodafone of coarse.

i think that it would be a great idea from fujitsu series to the main game, and when u finish the caree u can race online with oter people all over the world. u should also be able to do qualifying laps (qi, top ten, and q2 on another day) and u do a race weeked where u race 2 races over 2 days.

yeah race other people online would be great the qualifying with the 20 minute all in then top ten shot out and 20 minutes qualifying for second race. the enduros you could have a list of co drivers to chose from as well with different skill levels to make it a bit more interesting.

with the co-drivers do u mean real people online or u drive for them as well as yourself, maybe we should contact the v8 supercars of australia and tell them about our ideas.

the co-drivers you could have ether if you were playing by yourself you could have a few different co-drivers to pick from with different adillitys that would help you in different ways like in the rain. the online championship you can race full seasons wilth other people around the world and they can ether be on different teams or as your team mate and when it comes to enduros you could ether pair up with them if on same team and when the pit stops come the other player takes over. or if different teams you could have a mate come over and play as the co-driver you have picked and change in pit stops. that is not a bad idea with contacting supercars or you could contact codemasters them self i know i would be waiting out side a games store for that release to get it first. sorry for raving but finally somebody who has the same want for a new supercars game as me.

That sounds good, I want to get a new V8 Supercar Game V83 is getting old.
Things that would be great in a new game is Safety Cars, Co-Drivers, Proper Damage, Real Pit stops where things can go wrong, and you can make adjustments to the car during the race and a proper in-car view, and a V8 Supercar Career mode. Fujitsu to Nascar or F1 or anything.

I totally agree with you guys, it's been a very long wait since V8 Supercars 3 came out. I would have thought they would have made a new one for each new season, lkie smackdown vs raw etc.

On a seperate note, does anyone find the opposition can knock you of the track, and if you give them a slight tap you get penalised, it doesn't seem fair or realistic, or is just me.

G'day to all here. Unfortunately Codemasters still owns the rights to the V8 Supercars game. I sent an email
off to them a couple of months ago asking them whether they intend to produce any more versions of this or
if they would consider selling the rights (apparently EA are keen to take this up) but unfortunately their response
was no they wouldn't consider selling the rights nor have they ruled out the possibility of releasing further versions.
Sounds more like "We can't figure out how to make millions from it so no one else will". The feeling among other
long time fans of this game is that V8 Supercars3 is probably the last we will see.
I've now switched to rFactor with the V8factor mod that I personally find a better game. Still sad that such a popular game has probably come to an end.

mayby if they get enough requests, they will make a new game. some of my mates said they werent going to make another game

  • Paul Daniels

    Paul Daniels | 08:32AM - June 28th 2010

Possibly. Though I agree with your mates. I think they are going to hold on to the rights because they can.
I've given up on them. Switched to V8factor, love it and wouldn't bother going back now.

Well. There is rfactor and its addons V8 Factor and FVR Factor. FVR has the 2010 cars and the 2009 Fujitsu series cars. You can get V8 Factor. The latest version is 1.3 that races the 2006 cars and I have heard that 1.4 is out soon and that will race 2010 cars. But for V8 Factor 1.3 it comes with 2006 cars but you can download a mode for V8 Factor to make it race the 09 cars. You can also download tracks for the game to make it better. You can compete in leagues like Adrenalin Factor, Aus Factor, EAO Outlaws, Austeam and more..... rfactor does cost but there is a secret way to get it free. It is not a hack............ Send me a PM if you want more like replay videos with FVR Factor.............

There is also GTR 2 and GTR EVO but I never really stuck to them! But you can get addons like FVR Factor and tracks. You can compete in the Redline Sim Racers league!
