why blame james

why is it everybody blaming james what he did was just hard racing he didnt spin him r put him in a wall.direct the blame to the very quick call by race control to black flag jamie.this coming from a massive vodafone supporter.even jamie and roland said their was nothing in the tap, just hard racing

i Know aye. He was just racing hard and most people blame JC cause Jamie didn't win.

I agree, with your comments BUT I think JC should have been given maybe a drive through since the Black Flag was a ridiculous call. If they hadn't made Jamie come in I wouldn't hold JC responsible. I'm not an avid Jamie supporter - would rather see Craig out in front.

would agree with Jenny it was just a tap from JC and if the powers to be are that quick to make decisions they could have said to JW to stay out after the diffuser fell off

Rules are rules people, once the flag was put out it had to be adhered to.
    Its a safety thing.

IIf that diffuser was something else hanging off the car, but it fell off because it wasnt meatball flagged, and it caused a major incident, would you all be saying this stuff.

The call may have been a little quick but still. Obey the flag signals

Yes rules are rules but common sense should have prevailed. This situation should be investigated by the teams controlling bodiy. tega or avesco I think it is, to determine whether any malice or fixing was involved. This is a multi million dollar business, not just a bunch of petrol heads getting their kicks.

Can you guarantee that nothing else was put loose by the tap to the rear of the car though.
    No.

So then the car needed to be pulle din to make sure.
There is a thing called safety. Thats why we have flag signals.

People blame JC because it's easy to make a scapegoat out of him. When people came up to me after the race to ask my opinion, which hasn't changed, was simply "that's racing". It happens, and as much as it sucks, especially on a day where J-Dub had raced such a good race and deserved at least a podium, there was nothing inherently wrong with what James did in his racing. If there was he would have been given a similar penalty.

Of course in the heat of the moment it's easy to get angry, and it really did suck to see JC take second at Jamie's expense. My dad and I were hoping for a Vodafone/HRT 1-2 finish (in any order, he supporting the one team and I the other) and it looked like we were going to get it until those final laps. My brother gave me a verbal hammering though, he loved it lol. At the end of the day though, there is still almost a full calendar of racing to go, and things will even themselves out by season's end.

I don't like Courtney much, but can't blame him for what happened. The officials need to have a good look at the situation and make sure it doesn't happen again. If this was last year, I bet Jamie would not have gotten a Black Flag!!!!! They seem to pick on the Holden guys a bit more than that other brand!!!!

12popsicles, I know rules are rules & SAFETY is a major concern for this million dollar business, but with the amount of time that Jamie spent in pits they couldn't guarantee that nothing else would fall off. Maybe they should look at introducing another flag, or alter the rules. Even the commentators said that something needs to be done about that. By the end of the season everyone would have forgotten about this incident anyway.

Why should the rules be changed because the reigning champ and his team manager are calling foul.
It was extenuating circumstances and i didnt like it either, but they and you guys need to suck it up and move on.
A bad call happens to everyone. this just happened to happen when Jamie was in 2nd.

And they were as quick as possible becasue they presumed that the loose part had all come off.
In state racing the scruitneer has to check the car and make sure nothing else is loose.
Who knows, all it needed was a person to take a look underneath and make a quick judgement.
That takes a couple of seconds, which was i think how long he was stationary
