brian weightman

marcose or jamie

who is better or who dominated the series more.t8 was finding the speed when he left would marcose still of been best if he stayed around another 3 years considering vodafone started dominating

Maybe to start with Marcos would have continued to dominate but not now and definately not in and SBR car, Jamie and T8 are on fire they are so focused and driven. Put them both in a T8 car .... now that would be interesting but somehow I think Jamie would still come out number 1.

I would agree upto a point with Millie in that they both drive very similar very smooth with fine driver input easy on the car
however I think Marcus would come out on top reason I feel he had a bit fire/passion in him than Jamie

on the smooth driving comment how true you are, when looking at jamie drive their is hardly a correction into corners yet when looking onboard with others their is always either oversteer or understeer with plenty of wheel work such the great point that jamie and marcose drive very similar,i believe marcose to still be the best, sbr were not great before he came and they were not good when he left.saying that cheeseburger is showing signs of bringing them back to the front

no comparision, jamie by a mile. Marcos had the advantage of Project Blueprint being implemented which took the Holden teams and particularly HRT over a season to adjust to - SBR managed that to perfection. Since then the Holden teams have clearly been able to demonstrate great car speed etc, which TVF and Jamie have managed to overcome. Jamie by a mile.

Marcus would have to get his head in the car first!!!!!!! Oh now thats nasty ..... sorry but truth hurts. Seriously if you put them head to head this weekend in identical cars there is still no way Marcus would be Jamie - no way no how!

    THE STIG | 07:26AM - March 12th 2010

Put them in the same car type (not V8Supercar or NASCAR) on the same track on the same day to REALLY see who the better driver is.....that way no one has an unfaor advantage ............I believe Marcos would win based on experience and cunning................Having said that I would like to see Jamie win

why is there so much hate for marcose yeh he came across big headed.why not he dominated the series so good luck to him, skaife was the same early on and some might say jamie has an ego prob now.i met marcose a few times and not once was he arrogant to me or my family.I think if marcose stayed another 3 years rick garth and jamie would not have won a title while he was their

In their respective era: Marcos was second to none. Today JW has the throne but as time passes another will emerge.

about the era thing marcose dominated the sport in a short period like no other and now jamie doing the same.in this day and age with parity i doubt there will be another marcose or jamie.only time will tell but on % marcose only 2nd to moffart then jamie then craig then skaife in winning per start.thats pretty dominant

i would say evenley as each driver goes
thaey both got their strengths at certain race events
but you can leave out the man who won on his debut seaon his better than them.
marcos can win events that are not an enduro event
but whincup can win evey race but with the enduros he always whins with lowndes so lets see this yr if whincup will win with owen at bathurst or does he needs lowndes and then it will show if he has that help to win a championship at enduro events.

JW by miles!! Back to back champion and coming from the "Penalty Box" at GRM which almost ended his career.

He has by far had the greatest comeback and in the "early?" days of partnering Lowndesy in the Betta Electrical car around Bathurst he was always humble and just got on with the job.

Unlike Marcus, Jamie has never got into a petty squabble with another driver and allowed that to overshadow the otherwise great on track performance.
